MACHINE SERVICING

We get a lot of questions when it comes to servicing your lawnmower. The most common being is it necessary.  If you want your mower to last any substantial period of time, then servicing is crucial to it's longevity.

Why should I service my garden machinery?

Servicing your lawnmower is incredibly important. Not only does it ensure that the machine is running properly, but it allows you to ensure that you don't experience unexpected issues. It isn't just an oil change, it's ensuring that your machine is in full working order and safe to use when it is required. If you are a contractor, the need for your machinery is crucial, so regular servicing is advised. Regular servicing allows longer life of the machine, reduced repair costs in the near future and also improved fuel economy. Meaning that your mower will cut better, perform better and give you a much more satisfying experience.

How often to service my lawnmower?

We frequently get asked how often somebody should service their lawnmower, or at least the lawnmower engine. As with everything there are varying factors. These could include the amount of work your machine gets, time since it's last service, the length of grass that it is cutting, or even the fuel being used. We see a whole host of issues with machines coming in, but a good service is paramount to preventing a lot of issues arising. We have this page as a place for you to always get in touch to book your machine in for its service. We tend to recommend at least once a year, though if you are a contractor giving the machine a lot of use, you may want to look into increasing the frequency of your machines being serviced.
